Cui Yonghui, member of the Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Xiamen Municipal Party Committee, visits C&D for research

On the morning of August 5, Cui Yonghui, member of the Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial Committee and Secretary of Xiamen Municipal Committee, Chen Shenyang, member of the Standing Committee of Xiamen Municipal Committee and Director General of Xiamen Organization Department, and Li Huiyue, member of the Standing Committee of Xiamen Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Xiamen, led the delegation to visit Xiamen C&D Inc. for research.
Secretary Cui and his delegation first visited the exhibition hall of "C&D Source & Supply" and listened to the introduction of C&D General Manager Zheng Yongda on the development of the group's supply chain business. Then, Huang Wenzhou, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of C&D, briefed on the overall development and reform of the company and ideas about its future growth.
Sun Jianhui, Director of Xiamen Development and Reform Commission, Lin Zhicheng, Director of Xiamen Finance Bureau, Chen Min, Director of Xiamen Commerce Bureau and Wang Yueping, Director of Xiamen State Asset Regulatory Commission attended the research.
After the research, Secretary Cui held a forum with comrades in charge of three municipal state-owned enterprises, namely C&D, ITG Holding and XMXYG, to study and deploy the reform and development of SOEs to grow bigger, better, and stronger.
In the newly released Fortune 500 list for 2022, C&D, ITG Holding and XMXYG jumped to the 77th, 106th and 160th rankings on a global scale respectively. Secretary Cui affirmed that the three SOEs have advanced to a higher level and made important contributions to Xiamen's development, stressing that in the new journey, they shall always adhere to the Party's leadership, be a trend-setter in the reform and opening up, embrace new challenges ahead and create development opportunities in assuming their major responsibilities, thereby playing a greater role in Xiamen's endeavor to take the lead in the realization of the socialist modernization drive.
